WOW. We sat on the couch this morning and it is awesome. Here is my review for you to post.
What a great present today to sit on our newly reconstructed leather couch & chair. Miro, you are an amazing master craftsman! All of the pieces you worked on are beautiful & look like new. It would have been way too expensive to replace these pieces. You fixed everything for a very reasonable price. Best for us to have our timeless furniture for many years to come. Thank you!

Miro is a true artist whose work is flawless and an excellent leather craftsman who takes pride and care in what he does. My 48 year old Ethan Allen leather chair and ottoman had never been professionally cleaned and showed extreme signs of aging and wear. It also had several large areas where the color had faded severly. Miro Carminati did an amazing job of bringing it back to life. The color and texture look almost like brand new. You're a miracle worker, a genuine "old-school" craftsman! WOW! You peeled our broken down--(but well loved) leather couch --like a peach, gutted the old foam padding, rebuild the frame, and put it all back together 'right as rain!!!' My husband thinks I'm "the bomb" for finding a way to save his favorite seat. You're the "real deal!!!" Thank you!!!

We could not be more pleased with Miro's work in restoring our leather furniture, The pieces had been neglected by us and abused by our pets for years. We thought that restoration was hopeless but, amazlingly, Miro made them look as good as new. Instead of having to buy expensive, new furniture. we have beautifully reconditioned furniture at a fraction of the cost. All work was done timely and professionally.

It’s really dramatic against the dark drapes with the oriental rug and the hardwoods!
I also wanted to follow up because I hope to keep it looking like this for a very long time. You mentioned a conditioner that you like to use. Would you mind sharing the name of it with me?
We are also hoping to buy a leather sofa for our tv room. Something more traditional, definitely brown and possibly with exposed nail heads. Do you have a favorite manufacturer or store where I might start looking? I’ve been so happy with my first leather sofa — and now that I have you to keep it looking great, I’m not afraid to spend money on another :)

"We recently employed Mr. Carminati to repair and refinish a leather Chippendale style couch and two matching reclining chairs built by Leathercraft 25 years ago. Because these pieces were not only complex, with tufted backs and arms, but finished, not in more easily matched and repaired black or brown but rather a light gray, I fully expected the technician to tell me "that the repair is too complicated' or that "I'll never be able to match the color". That would have required replacement ...at a cost well over $10,000.00. Instead, Mr. Carminati considered the job routine and explained how he would obtain and dye new leather, effectuate the repairs, and re-dye and refinish the pieces. When he returned our furniture the color of the new leather matched the original perfectly and the pieces looked like new. We intend to use Mr. Carminati for all future leather repairs. I highly recommend him. He is the best."

Excellent leather repair Mr. Carminati repaired and restored a 40 year old leather wing chair. He recovered the seat cushion and it matched perfectly. The chair looks great and his price was very reasonable and the service was done in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend him to friends
